A touring participatory exhibition, with a Cabinet of Curiosities and collaborative artworks including performances, an online book of remembrance and an Empire Chandelier with origami butterflies, supported by Arts Council England and local authorities across the Midlands.
The online book of remembrance captures expressive artworks including printmaking, spoken word, origami and drawings, by 9-90 year olds from the Midlands. Created during the tour of The Beat of the Butterflies’ Wings project it shows responses to new understandings of war and peace 100 years on from the end of WW1.
